NCT ID NCT05261204
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two ways to replace a narrowed heart valve: a less invasive method (TAVI) versus standard open-heart surgery. It includes 4,000 people at high risk for complications. Researchers will track deaths, heart failure hospitalizations, and how well the valve works over two years to see which approach is better.
