New study aims to boost breast cancer remission in nigerian women

NCT ID NCT06291064

First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a specific chemotherapy combination (epirubicin/cyclophosphamide followed by docetaxel/carboplatin) in 85 Nigerian women with triple-negative breast cancer. The goal is to see how many have no cancer left in the breast or lymph nodes after treatment. Researchers will also look for blood markers that might show if the cancer is resistant to chemotherapy.
