New immune drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat digestive cancers

Summary
This study is testing a new immunotherapy drug called tarlatamab for people with advanced neuroendocrine cancer of the digestive system. The goal is to see if the drug, given alone or with standard chemotherapy, can help patients live longer by activating their own immune system to fight the cancer. The trial will enroll about 87 adults whose cancer has worsened after initial treatment.
