New radiation 'Smart Bomb' targets Hard-to-Treat tumors

Summary
This study tests a new drug that delivers radiation directly to cancer cells in people with advanced gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors or pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma that have already been treated with radiation therapy. The drug homes in on a protein found on these tumors and kills the cells from the inside. About 66 adults will receive up to four cycles of treatment, with close monitoring for safety and tumor response.
