First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study compares two types of pain blocks for women having their uterus removed. One group gets the standard numbing medicine (bupivacaine), the other gets that plus ketamine. The goal is to see if the combination lowers pain scores and delays the need for extra painkillers. 30 women aged 25-60 will be followed for 24 hours after surgery.
