Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new drug called TAK-243 in about 42 adults whose acute myeloid leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome has returned or stopped responding to standard therapy. The main goals are to find the best dose and check for side effects. TAK-243 works by blocking certain enzymes that cancer cells need to grow.
