First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a drug called tafenoquine can be safely combined with two common malaria treatments (DHA-piperaquine or artesunate-pyronaridine) in adults with vivax malaria. The goal is to see if these combinations work better at preventing the malaria from returning. About 507 adults will take part and be followed for six months.
