NCT ID NCT06833463
First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at why some kidney transplant patients develop blood sugar problems like diabetes. It focuses on the drug tacrolimus, which helps protect the new kidney but can harm insulin-producing cells. Researchers will track 120 patients in Poland to see how fast their bodies process the drug and whether that affects their diabetes risk. The goal is to identify who is most at risk so doctors can better prevent these complications.
