New combo therapy aims to shrink liver tumors before surgery

Summary

This study tests whether combining a targeted chemo procedure (TACE) with two immunotherapy drugs (atezolizumab and bevacizumab) can eliminate or shrink liver cancer before surgery. It involves 30 adults with resectable liver cancer at high risk of coming back. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer left at the time of surgery.
