Can a tablet app ease pain after a stem cell transplant?
NCT ID NCT01984671
Summary
This study tested a home-based tablet computer program designed to teach pain coping skills to patients who had a stem cell transplant for cancer. It compared the tablet program to usual care to see if it was practical for patients to use and if it could help reduce pain, fatigue, and improve physical function. The goal was to help patients manage their pain better as they transitioned from hospital to home.
