New study tracks hidden danger in stem cell transplants
NCT ID NCT07381205
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study watches for a serious but often missed complication called TA-TMA, where small blood vessels get damaged after a stem cell transplant. Researchers will follow 85 adults getting transplants to see how common TA-TMA is and how it affects survival. The goal is to better understand and detect this condition, not to test a new treatment.
