First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at how syphilis bacteria spread in women and men who have sex with women only. Researchers want to know if the bacteria can be found in places without sores, and if it's alive enough to infect others. About 480 people with early syphilis will give extra swabs and blood samples during their regular check-ups.
