Finger-Prick syphilis test in clinic trial

NCT ID NCT06586905

Summary

This study is testing a new rapid, finger-prick test for syphilis to see if it's as accurate as the standard lab blood test. It involves 1,300 people getting routine sexual health care at a clinic in Ottawa. The goal is to see if this quick test could help frontline health workers diagnose syphilis faster during the current outbreak.
