First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study is testing a new lightweight, 3D mesh called Swing-Mesh™ for fixing inguinal hernias. Unlike standard meshes, it doesn't require stitches or staples to stay in place. The study will follow 300 adults for 6 months to see how well the mesh works, how much pain they have, and if the hernia comes back.
