First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether playing familiar, calming music after meals can help people with Alzheimer's disease fall asleep faster, sleep longer, and have fewer agitated behaviors during the day. Researchers will use a wrist monitor (actigraphy) and caregiver questionnaires to track sleep and behavior in 120 patients living in special care units. The goal is to find a gentle, drug-free way to improve well-being.
