First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested how well a new wearable sweat sensor (hDrop) measures sweat rate and salt loss compared to standard lab methods. Twenty healthy adults exercised in a warm room for two separate sessions while wearing both the sensor and lab collection patches. The goal was to see if the sensor is accurate and reliable enough for everyday use by athletes or active people.
