NCT ID NCT06599021
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026
Summary
This study looks at swallowing difficulties in adults over 60. Researchers will screen participants from a larger heart and lung study, then test those with swallowing issues using a camera exam. People with moderate to severe problems will be randomly assigned to muscle training, skill-based swallowing exercises, or standard care. The goal is to improve how we diagnose and treat swallowing problems in older adults.
