New pill aims to ease pain after breast surgery

NCT ID NCT07463430

Summary

This study is testing if adding a new pain medication called suzetrigine to the usual pain control methods helps people feel better after breast surgery. It will enroll 120 adults having breast surgery to see if the drug reduces their worst pain in the first three days after the operation. The researchers will compare results to past patients who received only standard care.
