New stitch vs. old stitch: which works better in Weight-Loss surgery?

NCT ID NCT05433688

Summary

This study compares two types of surgical stitches used during robotic weight-loss surgery. Researchers want to see if a newer barbed stitch works better than a conventional stitch when connecting parts of the intestine. They'll measure how long it takes to do the stitching and check for complications like leaks or blockages after surgery.
