New bone filler shows promise in spine surgery trial

Summary
This study tested a material called SurgiFill™, which is used to help bones grow together during spinal fusion surgery. Twenty adults who needed spinal fusion took part. The goal was to see if SurgiFill™ is safe and helps the bones fuse better than using the patient's own bone alone.
