This study tested a computer model to help doctors decide which liver cancer patients with tumor clots in the bile duct would benefit most from surgery. Researchers looked at 151 patients and found that following the model's advice improved 5-year survival. The goal is to make surgical decisions more precise for this high-risk condition.
