Summary

This study collects blood, urine, spinal fluid, and tissue samples from 5,000 seriously injured or ill patients and healthy volunteers. Researchers will use these samples to develop better tests and tools to guide treatment decisions for military personnel and civilians. The study does not test any new treatment but focuses on gathering data for future research.
