First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 03, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested whether surgery (radiofrequency microtenotomy) or non-surgical treatment (strength training) works better for chronic plantar fasciitis—a common cause of heel pain. 70 adults with heel pain lasting over 7 months took part. The main goal was to see which approach reduces pain more after 6 months.
