Does surgery improve life for lymphedema patients?

Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term quality of life for people with lymphedema. It will compare patients who choose a specific surgical procedure (vascularized lymph node transfer) against those who choose non-surgical management. Researchers will follow 600 participants to see which approach leads to better life satisfaction and well-being over time.
