Summary
This study tested a new team checklist to improve communication and information sharing among surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists right before surgery. Researchers observed 151 operating room staff to see if the checklist helped teams talk more clearly and check all safety items. The goal was to learn if a simple, structured tool could make surgery teams work better together.
