Can a 'Prehab' bootcamp help women weather ovarian cancer surgery?
NCT ID NCT04862325
Summary
This study is testing whether a special pre-surgery training program can help patients with advanced ovarian cancer recover better from major surgery. The program includes guided exercise, nutritional advice, and psychological support to prepare the body and mind. Researchers want to see if this 'prehabilitation' reduces complications after surgery and helps patients start their follow-up chemotherapy sooner.
