Lying on your back or belly? study tests lung risk in kidney stone surgery
NCT ID NCT06462976
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at 200 adults having kidney stone surgery to see if lying on their back versus their belly changes the risk of lung problems after surgery. Researchers measured lung 'mechanical power' during surgery and tracked complications. The goal is to find the safest position for patients.
