Summary
This study looked at how much physical and mental stress surgeons experience during robot-assisted surgery compared to traditional laparoscopic surgery. Five trained surgeons were monitored with muscle sensors, heart rate monitors, and saliva tests during routine procedures. The goal is to understand which method is less taxing on surgeons, potentially improving their well-being and performance.
