Bypassing the urethra: a safer prostate surgery for men with implants?
NCT ID NCT07327424
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a new surgical technique for men with an enlarged prostate who also have a penile implant. Normally, prostate surgery goes through the urethra, which can damage the implant. The new method enters through the belly to avoid that risk. About 80 men will take part to see if the procedure is safe and effective at improving urinary symptoms.
