New oxygen device may prevent breathing problems during uterine surgery

Summary

This study tests a special oxygen device (supraglottic jet) during hysteroscopic surgery to see if it prevents low oxygen levels better than the usual nasal tube. About 100 adults having planned hysteroscopy will be randomly assigned to one of two oxygen methods. The goal is to improve safety and comfort during the procedure.
