First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new vaccine designed to prevent Sudan virus disease, a severe and often deadly illness. About 112 healthy adults aged 18 to 50 will receive either the vaccine or a placebo to check for side effects and measure immune responses. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and prompts the body to produce antibodies against the virus.
