First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at how a new FDA-approved suction device affects heart rate and oxygen levels in intubated preterm and term babies compared to standard suctioning. About 30 infants in the NICU will be monitored during both procedures. The goal is to see if the new device causes less stress to the baby's body.
