New balloon treatment could help millions with clogged leg arteries

Summary
This study is testing a special balloon coated with a drug that slowly releases medication to keep leg arteries open in people with peripheral artery disease. About 723 participants will receive the balloon treatment and be followed for one year to see if it reduces the need for another procedure. The goal is to improve blood flow and manage the disease long-term.
