First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at 40 people with natural teeth to find a reliable landmark in the jaw for setting the bite plane in dentures. Researchers measured how the bite line relates to a notch in the jawbone called the coronoid notch. The goal is to make dentures fit better, look more natural, and work well for eating and speaking.
