Radioactive seeds may help control cancer that resists standard treatment
NCT ID NCT07333651
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study is for people with lung or colorectal cancer that has spread and is starting to grow again in only a few places while other areas stay stable. It tests whether adding tiny radioactive seeds (125I) directly into those growing spots, along with continuing usual treatment, can keep the cancer from progressing longer than usual treatment alone. About 90 adults will take part in this phase 2 trial.
