Summary
This study looks at a two-part procedure to stop bleeding in the esophagus or stomach caused by a rare condition where the portal vein is blocked. The procedure combines blocking the bleeding veins and reducing blood flow to the spleen. The goal is to lower the chance of repeat bleeding in 26 adults who have not responded to standard treatments.
