Summary
This study aims to better understand severe mood and behavioral problems in children and adolescents. Researchers will observe and test children with chronic irritability, sadness, and frequent temper outbursts, as well as healthy volunteers, to learn how these symptoms develop and what brain changes are involved. The study uses interviews, behavioral tasks, and brain imaging but does not provide any treatment.
