Summary
This is a research study to understand how opioids and sedative drugs affect people's emotions, thinking, and behavior. Researchers will give small, controlled doses of morphine (an opioid) and alprazolam (a sedative) to 24 adults with past experience using these types of drugs. The goal is to measure changes in anxiety, mood, attention, and decision-making to learn what drives people to use these drugs together.
