Withdrawn study sought to identify cancer patients safe for home care during fever
NCT ID NCT04557709
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study was designed to look at cancer patients with neutropenic fever (a serious side effect of chemotherapy) who might be eligible for a 'hospital at home' program, where they receive acute care at home instead of in the hospital. Researchers planned to review medical charts to see how many patients had major complications and what factors made home care risky. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
