Summary
This study tested the drug lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (a stimulant used for ADHD) in 26 adults with chronic fatigue syndrome who also had cognitive problems like brain fog. The goal was to see if the drug could improve thinking skills and reduce fatigue. Participants received either the drug or a placebo for several weeks. Results showed that those on the drug had greater improvements in executive function (like planning and memory) and fatigue severity compared to placebo.
