New hope for kids with Drug-Resistant TB: safer treatment on the horizon

Summary
This study is testing a new drug called bedaquiline, combined with standard medicines, for children and teens (birth to under 18) who have multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in their lungs. The goal is to see how safe the drug is, how the body processes it, and whether it helps fight the infection. About 60 participants will receive the drug along with their regular TB treatment.
