Summary

This study tests which intravenous drug works better before mechanical clot removal in people having a severe stroke caused by a large blocked artery. About 800 adults will receive either tirofiban or alteplase before the procedure. The goal is to see which approach leads to more patients being able to live independently after 90 days.
