First seen Jun 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether combining intense arm training with electrical muscle stimulation and brain stimulation could improve arm function in 20 chronic stroke survivors who had severe hand paralysis for more than 6 months. Participants received both types of brain stimulation in random order. The goal was to see if this approach could help them regain some movement and use of their affected arm.
