First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests if doing a home-based exercise program before surgery can reduce disability 90 days after the operation. About 902 adults scheduled for major surgery will be split into two groups: one that follows the online exercise program and one that receives usual care. The goal is to see if getting fit before surgery helps people feel better and function more quickly afterward.
