NCT ID NCT07404683
First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at how safe and effective an 8-week strength training program is when combined with blood flow restriction (BFR) — a technique that uses a cuff to partially limit blood flow to the arm. Researchers will compare three training methods: high-intensity exercise with BFR, low-intensity exercise with BFR, and high-intensity exercise without BFR. The 60 healthy, untrained adults will be randomly assigned to one group, and the team will measure muscle strength, size, and any side effects like pain or swelling.
