NCT ID NCT07453173

First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a supervised strength-training program is safe and practical for people with locally advanced rectal cancer who are receiving chemotherapy and radiation before surgery. Fifteen participants will do personalized strength training twice a week from the start of cancer treatment until surgery (about 24 weeks). The study will measure how many people join and stick with the program, and whether it helps maintain muscle, reduce fatigue, and improve quality of life.
