Can lifting weights help seniors stay independent?
NCT ID NCT07323212
Summary
This study tested whether a 10-week strength training program could help adults aged 65 and older perform daily activities more easily and improve their mental well-being. Six participants attended twice-weekly guided exercise sessions and completed questionnaires about their activity performance, satisfaction, stress, and mood before and after the program. Researchers analyzed whether the training made meaningful changes to participants' ability to do the things they want to do in daily life.
