Summary
This study tested a new device to collect stool samples quickly and safely from cancer patients with diarrhea. The goal was to get samples right at the bedside, speeding up lab tests for infections and reducing how long patients need to stay in isolation. Fifty patients from an oncology department took part, and the device was checked for safety and how well it worked.
