Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
stimulant medication
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a way to prevent full-blown eating disorders in youth with ADHD by treating loss of control eating early.
What could go wrong
This is a very small observational study with only 10 participants and no control group. Results may not apply to all children, and stimulants have side effects like appetite loss and sleep problems.
