First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study compares a rapid point-of-care test to standard lab tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia in 400 asymptomatic adults. The goal is to see if the faster test reduces the time to starting antibiotics and increases the number of people treated within 7 days. Participants provide a urine or vaginal sample and complete surveys about their testing experience.
